For the second consecutive year, Bolster is recognized by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal among the Top 5 Best Places to Work in the San Francisco Bay Area out of companies our size. We also ranked first in the wellness category.

The annual ranking is voted on by a company’s own employees, and is a meaningful representation of the positive and inclusive culture fostered by the Bolster team.

“In the fast-paced and demanding cybersecurity sector, Bolster’s success as a Silicon Valley employer of choice is a testament to the vision, innovation, and commitment of our whole team,” said Bolster’s VP of People & Operations, Cleo Valeroso. “I’m proud of the hard work and dedication that led to this recognition two years in a row, and look forward to building on this success together.”

The team celebrates at the award ceremony!

Bolster’s executive leadership understands the fundamental role of the workplace in an employee’s life. Valeroso and her team have created an award-worthy workspace for the growing team to integrate and innovate, ensuring that every individual thrives within their role at Bolster.

The HR and Operations team has carefully cultivated Bolster’s ethos of collaboration, respect, and innovation, with a focus on DEI initiatives, such as Inclusive Culture Training, diverse hiring practices, and recognizing and celebrating various cultural and social events to raise awareness about all backgrounds, as well as work-life balance benefits like our Flexible Work policy and frequent company social events. Additionally, the company offers mental health benefits and resources for employees that are easy-to-use and destigmatize the need for help.

Setting the Standard for Wellness

Being recognized as the top organization for health and wellness illustrates Bolster’s care to create and develop extensive wellness programs that support and encourage healthy lifestyles for its employees.

From online support for mental health needs for Bolster employees and their families, to the opportunity to spend recognition points on wellness initiatives like gym memberships and personal fitness equipment, Bolster has prioritized our employee holistic wellness.

“Caring for employee mental health and wellness is a critical investment for any organization that values their employees’ holistic well-being,” says Valeroso. “Investing in employee wellness doesn’t just benefit the individual employee; it also affects the collective well-being of our entire organization. By providing access to mental health resources, wellness programs, and other support systems, we are empowering our employees to stay healthy, manage stressors, and utilize preventative measures for their long-term well-being.”

This award signals that Bolster is a company that genuinely cares about its employees’ health and well-being and is willing to invest in creating a supportive and productive work environment. By providing a comprehensive range of wellness programs and benefits, we are proud to set a standard for other organizations to follow.
